UK grading system
Time to move to the UK
Dude I would kill for that grading scale
wait, so what is it in america then?
Anything below that is an F
is that real??
Interesting, didn’t expect the British system to be so different. Then again, how many pass or fail also depends on the difficulty of the questions.
The Hungarian system is much like the US one, except we use numbers instead of letters. 90-100: 5, 80-89: 4, 70-79: 3, 60-69: 2, under 60: 1 (Failville).
Am I the only one who saw this and got really excited…
…only to be disappointed when realizing that no, they’re still not rolling back all the stupid changes they’ve made this year?
My boss is a dumbass
So I went to bed early tonight (after 9 pm) because I figured I could use a full night’s sleep. Except I couldn’t fall asleep and as I went over the day in my head, it dawned on me: My boss totally forgot to send me that batch of overtime work that absolutely, positively had to be done by tomorrow morning. Or more probably the messenger guy didn’t have time to deliver it. Which should have been obvious by 1 pm when he was already massively behind schedule.
At 1 pm, my boss could have just asked me to bring my big backpack and take the batch myself, it would’ve been a hassle, but doable. What’s probably going to happen instead, there will be a huge scramble tomorrow: they’ll deliver me the batch after 9 am, have me do it “as quickly as I can” (about 90 minutes), and have the messenger guy either wait for me or come back for it. Both his and my schedule for the day will suffer because my boss couldn’t keep his shit organized.
Anyway, it’s my boss’ business, how he organizes his shit is none of my concern. Except I’m doing this work for extra pay, so I have quite a bit of money riding on keeping the deal going. Plus, when I agreed to do it, he didn’t mention any extra stress caused by logistical mishaps. I should have expected them though.
Best I can do is try to not worry about it at this point. Che sarà, sarà.
